Natural Remedies To Quickly Stop Unbearable Toothaches

If you have experienced toothaches you would know how painful it could be. People that experience serious and constant toothache or any other mouth problem should immediately visit their dentist in order to treat the problem.
On the other hand, people that experience minor toothaches and pains could treat this from home by using natural homemade remedy. Here are some remedies that could help you relieve the toothache:



Clove oil
This remedy is amazing and very effective because it contains chemical called eugenol which acts as anesthetic and antibacterial agent. You will need to soak a cotton ball in the mixture where you will put 2-3 drops of clove oil and ¼ teaspoon of olive oil. Put the cotton ball in the mouth on the tooth that hurts and bite it in order to remain in place. You will feel relieve in short period of time, but make sure that you don’t fall asleep with it.
Cough drops
Cough drops contain little anesthetic but could be very effective in relieving small tooth pain. You will need to suck few drops of this remedy but make sure that you don’t swallow it. Also you could try and apply Vick’s VapoRub on the outside of the cheek where you feel the pain, and on top of it put paper towel and lie on that side.

Wash it off
Toothache could be caused by some foods that might have been stuck between your teeth. For that purpose you should wash the mouth and teeth with mouthwash, flossing, or interdental brushes.

Tea bags
Prepare warm tea and put it directly on the tooth that is causing the pain. If you notice that the swelling is reducing it is due to the tannic acid that it contains.

Ginger root
You will need to cut the ginger on pieces and remove the bark. Apply small piece on top of the tooth that is causing the pain and bit it in order to remain in place. The remaining piece of the ginger root could be stored in the fridge.

Black cumin oil
Prepare a mixture of 1 teaspoon of black cumin oil and ½ teaspoon of vinegar. Heat this mixture and leave it to cool down before you use it. This remedy is amazing because it will eliminate any infection and inflammation in the mouth.

Compresses
In order to remove the pain you can also use cold compresses. Put these compresses on the outside of the teeth and the pain will be eased.

If you can’t resolve the pain you should visit your dentist.
